Fire – EMS Chief Kevin L. Riley
Chief Riley began his fire service career in 1980 as a cadet with the Mt. Orab Fire Department, Incorporated. After reaching age 18, Chief Riley attended the fire academy, which enabled him to achieve his childhood dream of becoming a firefighter. Since that time, Chief Riley progressed through the ranks at Mt. Orab eventually becoming the Fire Chief in 1995. When Chief Riley was appointed Fire Chief, he was the youngest Fire Chief in the history of the Mt. Orab Fire Department.
Chief Riley was hired by the Central Joint Fire – EMS District (CJFED) Board and began his journey in December of 2001. Under his leadership, the department has grown into a full-service, fire and emergency medical service district. Chief Riley has always said that without the dedicated employees and board of directors the transition to a fire district would not have been successful.
